FULL PINK MOON - April 30, 2018
April’s Full Moon was named the FULL PINK MOON by early American Indian tribes for the little pink flowers called Wild Ground Phlox that appear in the meadows at this time of the year. For other Indian Tribes the Moon was named for the time when migratory birds start to move south for the summer. These Full Moon names included “The Greg Goose Moon” and the moon "When Geese Lay Eggs".
