2019 will have its first New Moon on January 5th in the US and January 6th in Europe. Later in the month, January Full Moon is one that can't be missed! The first Full Moon of 2019 will have a Full Lunar Eclipse visible in North and South America, and western Europe and Africa. The Full Moon will also occur at the Moon's closest point to Earth in its orbit making this Full Moon bigger and brighter.
